Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise SQL Server databases, database objects, and related business applications.
* Write efficient T-SQL code, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and complex queries for reliable data processing.
* Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, execution plan analysis, and normalization best practices.
* Support MSSQL administration tasks, including backup and recovery, access control, security management, and performance monitoring.
* Build database structures that support scalable applications, secure data handling, and high-volume business operations.
* Work with backend developers, solution architects, and business analysts to understand requirements and convert them into practical database solutions.
* Support integration with enterprise platforms and data systems such as webMethods, Redis, PostgreSQL, and AWS S3.
* Assist with ETL processes, data movement, data validation, and integration workflows across business-critical systems.
* Contribute to CI-CD pipeline practices for database deployment, release management, and environment consistency.
* Review database issues, troubleshoot production problems, and apply corrective actions to maintain system stability.
* Maintain technical documentation for database design, data flows, procedures, security controls, and operational processes.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server database development and enterprise database application support.
* Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, indexing, and query optimization.
* Practical understanding of database design, normalization, security, backup, recovery, and performance monitoring.
* Experience working with enterprise integrations, backend systems, and application development teams.
* Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, webMethods, AWS S3, ETL workflows, and CI-CD pipelines will be an advantage.
* Strong analytical thinking with the ability to troubleshoot complex database and performance issues.
* Good communication skills for working with technical teams, business analysts, and solution architects.
