Technical Lead and Scrum Master - Payments
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead and Scrum Master specializing in payment systems to drive the development and integration of microservices-based, event-driven payment solutions. This role requires expertise in payment schemes, cloud-native technologies, and Agile methodologies to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing payment systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and maintenance of microservices-based, event-driven architecture payment systems.
- Work with various payment schemes such as NPSS, FTS, DDS, IPI, WPS, and ISO20022 to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Utilize cloud-native services on Azure and AWS for application development, deployment, and management.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Act as a Scrum Master, ensuring Agile and Scrum best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate with external vendors for integrations and project implementations, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Ensure system scalability, security, and performance optimization through CI/CD pipelines and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
- Provide guidance on Kafka, MQ, REST APIs, MSSQL, RDS Postgres, Redis/Cache, EKS, and GitLab for efficient system operations.
- Payment Hub (TCS BaNCS) experience is a plus, contributing to a more seamless payment processing system.
Requirements
- 11-15 years of experience in software development, architecture, and Agile project management.
- Strong expertise in designing and integrating payment processing systems with microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Deep understanding of payment schemes and compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency in working with modern DevOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and GitLab.
- Strong knowledge of Kafka, message queues (MQ), relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in leading Agile development teams and applying Scrum methodologies effectively.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage vendor integrations and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to ensure system security, performance, and scalability through robust design and best practices.
