Job Description
The Senior Manager - Digital Factory is responsible for leading Industry 4.0 transformation at Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA). This role oversees the execution of digital initiatives, optimizes manufacturing processes, and ensures the successful implementation of Industry 4.0 use cases. The position requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and agile execution to deliver up to 20 digital transformation use cases per quarter, contributing to an annual run rate of over 10 million dollars per wave.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Industry 4.0 roadmap, ensuring alignment with EGA’s strategic objectives
- Oversee a portfolio of digital transformation initiatives across multiple business areas
- Collaborate with business leaders to define and prioritize digital value roadmaps
- Optimize digital processes using AI, machine learning, automation, and IoT technologies
- Define and monitor KPIs and operational metrics to track project success
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, ensuring continuous upskilling and adoption of best practices
- Guide business areas in identifying, validating, and implementing high-impact digital use cases
- Facilitate the use case selection process, ensuring feasibility and business impact estimation
- Manage quarterly planning sessions with leadership, prioritizing the most valuable digital initiatives
- Oversee the deployment of digital products, ensuring alignment with budget, timelines, and business goals

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the metals, mining, or energy industry with expertise in large-scale digital transformation projects
- Proven track record in Industry 4.0, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making
- Strong expertise in agile methodologies, project management, and product ownership
- Experience with AI, automation, IoT, cloud analytics, and digital twin technologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives and operational teams
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, agile project management tools, and cloud data platforms
- Ability to lead change management and ensure seamless adoption of digital initiatives
