Role Summary
Dicetek LLC is hiring an experienced Application Security Engineer to support a high-impact cybersecurity initiative in Dubai. This role focuses on conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) across web, mobile, API, cloud, and infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will work closely with development and IT teams to improve security posture, remediate risks, and ensure compliance with UAE and international standards.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct detailed security assessments and penetration tests on web, mobile, and AI-based applications
* Perform VAPT on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, servers, databases, and infrastructure components
* Evaluate and remediate risks using tools like Burp Suite, Fortify, SonarQube, Nessus, Metasploit, and Acunetix
* Collaborate with DevOps, cloud engineers, and IT teams to implement secure coding and configuration standards
* Document vulnerabilities, create risk reports, and recommend security control improvements
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the OWASP Top 10, secure coding frameworks, and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, UAE IA)
* Support security audits and provide technical insights during incident response
Ideal Profile
* 5+ years of experience in Application and Infrastructure Security testing
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
* Professional certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, CISA, CRTP, or GIAC (GWAPT, GMOB) are strongly preferred
* Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and environments (Kali Linux, ZAP, Nmap, Qualys, etc.)
* Expertise in secure code review, cloud security, and security risk assessment
* Knowledge of data protection laws and enterprise security frameworks relevant to UAE-based institutions
