Position Overview
DP World Dubai is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design, governance, and enhancement of enterprise security architecture. The role is accountable for defining the organization’s target cybersecurity framework, ensuring compliance with international and local standards, and embedding security best practices throughout all technology and business operations. This position plays a critical part in reducing cyber risk, enhancing system resilience, and ensuring secure-by-design principles across the global enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
* Define and maintain the enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture, standards, and roadmap in alignment with business strategy and risk tolerance.
* Govern and enforce design principles such as secure by design, zero trust, and least privilege across all technology initiatives.
* Conduct and oversee threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews using frameworks like STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK.
* Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, playbooks, and best-practice documentation aligned with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and SANS/CIS Controls.
* Embed security checkpoints and DevSecOps automation into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Oversee change management reviews to ensure all technology changes undergo risk and control assessments.
* Govern identity and access management processes, approving complex authorization requests and enforcing segregation of duties.
* Evaluate and integrate new security technologies, producing business cases and implementation plans to enhance resilience.
* Advise on incident response, containment, and recovery during major cybersecurity incidents.
* Define architecture KPIs and KRIs, measuring adoption, control coverage, and risk reduction.
* Ensure security compliance with Dubai ISR, Dubai Data Privacy Law, ISO 27001, and related global regulations.
* Collaborate with vendors, assess third-party integrations, and mitigate supply chain risks.
* Translate complex technical risks into actionable business insights for senior leadership.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the security architecture team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Networking Technologies (required).
* Cybersecurity certifications such as GDSA, CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or TOGAF (preferred).
* 4–9 years of experience in enterprise architecture or cybersecurity architecture within large-scale environments.
* Strong knowledge of security frameworks and governance models (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SANS/CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK).
* Proven expertise in secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and identity governance.
* Hands-on experience with risk modeling, design assurance, and architecture documentation.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing executive decisions.
* Experience with emerging technology evaluation and implementation of innovative cybersecurity solutions.
