Position Overview
The Data and AI Governance Analyst will support RTA’s Technology Strategy and Governance Department by analyzing AI and data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies, and advancing responsible AI practices. The role involves conducting audits, preparing reports, and supporting governance maturity assessments to strengthen RTA’s data-driven decision-making framework.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct data analysis and visualizations to support governance and AI decision-making.
* Document AI and data use cases, focusing on business impact and risk assessments.
* Organize and facilitate compliance tracking activities, data quality audits, and AI ethics assessments.
* Support research on evolving AI and data governance practices and summarize insights.
* Draft official responses in Arabic and English for Data and AI Governance correspondence.
* Track, document, and resolve issues raised during compliance reviews.
* Generate compliance reports and monitor governance KPIs.
* Perform hands-on tasks using tools like Collibra, Informatica, Power BI, or Python.
* Contribute to data collection, business definition, and critical dataset inventories.
* Detect and address data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Comply with RTA’s information security policies to safeguard sensitive data.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
* Professional certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, CIPT, CIPP/E, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
* Preferred certifications in Ethical AI from IEEE, Stanford Online, or Microsoft AI School.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology, with a focus on data analysis, governance, or compliance.
* Strong skills in data governance tools and reporting systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
