Dicetek is hiring an experienced Data Center Solution Delivery Engineer to manage and oversee colocation and data center infrastructure deployments. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong expertise in structured cabling, power planning, rack layouts, and multi-vendor server and network integrations.

Job Overview
You will lead end-to-end deployment activities within data center facilities, acting as the primary technical coordinator among vendors, facility teams, and customer stakeholders. Responsibilities include cable and power planning, rack and network infrastructure setup, documentation, and compliance with data center standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise on-site activities including fiber/copper cabling, power setup, rack installations, and IT equipment placement
* Design and implement structured cabling (fiber/copper) to support server and network connectivity
* Plan rack space for servers, switches, routers; coordinate power provisioning and load balancing
* Integrate and configure networking hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Dell, and HPE
* Ensure proper IP planning, patch panel layout, and logical port documentation
* Act as main liaison between colocation providers, vendors, and customer teams
* Validate vendor deliverables, ensure SLA adherence, and maintain accurate technical documentation
* Conduct connectivity testing, maintain cable routes, rack layouts, power usage logs
* Ensure environmental and security compliance with data center standards
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
* Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* 5 to 8 years of experience in data center implementation or colocation projects
* Proven ability to manage structured cabling systems and hardware integrations
Skills and Knowledge
* Deep knowledge of structured cabling (fiber/copper), power distribution, and rack management
* Experience working with multi-vendor hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HPE)
* Familiarity with HVAC, fire suppression, and facility controls is an advantage
* Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and documentation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication to manage cross-functional coordination
Preferred Certifications
* CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional)
* CCNA / CCNP or equivalent networking certifications
