Job Description:

As the **Product Owner - Database**, you will take full ownership of the database landscape, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. This role involves strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous innovation to support the company’s digital transformation. You will lead a team of database administrators, drive best practices, and optimize a hybrid model of traditional and cloud databases to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for database infrastructure and management.
- Oversee database installations, configurations, security, and performance optimization.
- Lead a team of database administrators, ensuring high performance and adherence to best practices.
- Implement robust data governance, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure database systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
- Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to align database solutions with business objectives.
- Manage database-related projects in an agile environment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Foster a data-driven culture by enabling advanced analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Define and maintain a product backlog, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Oracle DBA, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, or similar are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in database management, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing database infrastructure at scale.
- Strong experience in agile methodologies, product ownership, and digital project management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, automation tools, and modern data technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
