Site Reliability Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps
Role Summary
Dicetek LLC is hiring an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a Dubai-based banking and cloud infrastructure engagement. This role will support enterprise-wide applications and environments through advanced DevOps practices, container orchestration, and cloud platform automation. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of reliability engineering, distributed systems, microservices monitoring, and secure cloud operations.

Core Duties
* Design, build, and manage highly reliable and resilient cloud and on-premise infrastructure systems
* Implement CI/CD DevOps pipelines across hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, OpenShift)
* Monitor system performance, capacity, and health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, AppDynamics
* Develop chaos testing and fault-tolerance mechanisms for microservices in production
* Ensure end-to-end service observability with RUM, telemetry, and custom alerting frameworks
* Work with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, HELM) and service meshes (Envoy, Istio)
* Lead transition from monolithic to microservice-based architectures using Java Spring Boot
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform
* Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, and business units to optimize system uptime and performance
* Contribute to incident response and reliability audits, documenting architectural and procedural improvements
Candidate Requirements
* 6+ years in enterprise-level infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles
* 4+ years in cloud-based operations and microservices deployment
* Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in scripting and automation
* Practical experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container-based deployment strategies
* Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and tools like HashiCorp Vault
* Strong grasp of IT infrastructure within the banking domain
* Ability to analyze large datasets, conduct forecasting, and performance modeling
* Bachelor\'s or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Agile/DevSecOps experience, with solid knowledge of CI/CD tooling
* Proficient in managing distributed systems, databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle), and monitoring tools
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate across functions
