Role Context
The Account Manager will manage existing restaurant partners through regular phone calls, emails, business reviews, and CRM updates. The role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with restaurants while identifying practical ways to increase revenue, improve profitability, strengthen market share, and enhance partner performance.
This position requires strong communication, negotiation, follow-up discipline, and commercial awareness. The successful candidate will work closely with restaurant partners to update menus, improve content quality, promote offers, support advertising sales, optimize transmission methods, and encourage digital adoption across partner accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular business reviews with restaurant accounts to identify revenue growth opportunities, performance gaps, and relationship improvement areas.
Maintain continuous communication with restaurant partners through phone calls, emails, follow-ups, and structured account updates.
Provide reliable support to restaurant partners by resolving operational issues and coordinating solutions between restaurants and internal teams.
Ensure restaurant menus remain accurate, updated, and aligned with platform requirements at all times.
Optimize restaurant content, including menu order accuracy, delivery timing, product presentation, and customer-facing information.
Renegotiate commission rates and support the renewal of commercial agreements with existing restaurant partners.
Build stronger commercial relationships by identifying partner needs and presenting suitable growth solutions.
Support advertisement sales by encouraging restaurants to use menu photos, branding opportunities, banners, newsletters, and other promotional placements.
Generate and coordinate food coupons, promotions, vouchers, and partner-led offers to improve customer engagement and sales performance.
Convince restaurant partners to support brand promotion through updated visuals, accurate food images, and talabat branding where applicable.
Encourage restaurants to adopt improved transmission methods, including track order features, WLA, and other operational tools.
Promote restaurant digitalization through backlinks, splash pages, white-label options, Facebook buttons, and online visibility tools.
Encourage restaurants to subscribe to online payment gateway solutions to improve customer convenience and order conversion.
Coordinate with restaurants to confirm whether accounts are live and active on the platform, and investigate issues such as shutdowns, stopped delivery, or inactive status.
Maintain regular CRM updates through Salesforce.com, including contact reports, activity reports, account plans, and sales updates.
Prepare and maintain accurate records covering closed sales, follow-up activities, sales expenses, promotion impact, restaurant analysis, and account management reports.
Participate in sales and marketing calls, updates, and team discussions to share progress, risks, and account-level insights.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
The role requires at least 1 year of experience in sales, account management, client servicing, restaurant partnerships, business development, or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
Experience with restaurants, food delivery platforms, online marketplaces, hospitality accounts, or digital commerce will be an advantage.
The candidate should be confident in handling daily partner communication, managing follow-ups, negotiating commercial terms, and supporting restaurant growth.
Fluency in Arabic and English is required for effective communication with restaurant partners and internal teams.
The role suits someone who is organized, target-focused, flexible, and able to manage multiple restaurant accounts while meeting deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, along with the ability to explain platform tools, promotions, advertising options, and operational improvements clearly.
