Inventory Control Specialist - Warehouse and Store Operations – Talabat – Dubai, UAE

Position Overview
Inventory Control Specialist - Warehouse and Store Operations in Dubai, UAE ensures accurate inventory tracking and stock management across Talabat’s grocery and quick commerce operations. The role focuses on monitoring stock movement, performing inventory reconciliations, analyzing stock levels, and supporting store operations to maintain accurate product availability within the delivery network.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor daily stock movements and prepare reports on inventory adjustments across operational stores.
* Generate category level stock reports covering all stores and inventory locations.
* Guide store teams on proper procedures for receiving deliveries, returning purchase orders, and resolving stock related operational issues.
* Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
* Verify shipment quantities for incoming and outgoing stock to ensure accuracy.
* Coordinate with finance teams for invoice matching and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
* Prepare weekly inventory reports including total adjustments and shrinkage analysis compared to sales performance.
* Perform store visits and spot checks to investigate inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
* Report system related issues that may affect stock tracking and store inventory management.
* Perform monthly reconciliation with finance teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Prepare monthly inventory reports covering stock turnover and performance indicators.

Ideal Profile

* Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or retail supply chain environments.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Experience working with inventory reporting tools and operational data systems.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize operational requirements effectively.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with operations, finance, and store teams.
* Ability to work independently while supporting cross functional operations.
* Strong communication skills in English, with Arabic considered an advantage.
* Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and operational management teams.
