Role Context
Accurate asset records and reliable hardware support are essential to technology availability and contractual compliance. This position will coordinate
the movement, configuration and maintenance of equipment while working with suppliers and telecommunications providers. Effective inventory control will improve asset visibility and reduce delays during allocation or replacement.
Key Responsibilities
The coordinator will combine hands-on technical support with disciplined asset administration and supplier follow-up.
* Maintain a detailed inventory of company-owned hardware.
* Update asset registers and inventory sheets without delay.
* Plan the distribution of laptops, desktops and related equipment.
* Monitor hardware allocation across users, departments and vendors.
* Record device ownership, location and current status.
* Maintain accurate software and hardware license information.
* Confirm that allocated assets comply with vendor-contract requirements.
* Configure equipment before distribution.
* Complete required IT checks before releasing hardware.
* Troubleshoot faults affecting company devices.
* Perform routine hardware maintenance when required.
* Use remote-access tools to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
* Track equipment transfers, returns and replacements.
* Coordinate procurement requirements with approved suppliers.
* Follow up on outstanding hardware orders and delivery dates.
* Maintain productive relationships with technology vendors.
* Work with telecommunications providers on related equipment and services.
* Verify received assets against approved requests and specifications.
* Organize supporting records for procurement and asset allocation.
