This role is well suited for a designer who is still growing their craft but ready to take ownership of real product work. The successful candidate will receive guidance from senior designers while also contributing meaningful design decisions, research inputs, prototypes, and user experience improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Build a strong understanding of the assigned product area, user needs, customer journeys, and business goals with support from the design manager and senior designers.
Translate well-defined product problems into clean and practical design solutions that support usability, clarity, and customer satisfaction.
Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, prototypes, visual layouts, and high-fidelity interface designs for product features.
Participate in user interviews, usability tests, generative research, and evaluative research activities alongside senior team members.
Apply the design system consistently across features, while identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities when they appear.
Gather feedback from users, peers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the design process.
Work closely with product managers and senior designers to understand the problem space before moving into solution design.
Share work regularly with the immediate team to receive early feedback, iterate quickly, and improve design quality before final delivery.
Contribute to cross-functional workshops, design critique sessions, and product discussions as an active design team member.
Document design decisions, rationale, flows, and handoff notes clearly for engineers, product teams, and asynchronous review.
Support agile sprint delivery by managing assigned design tasks, timelines, feedback cycles, and design updates with guidance.
Explore AI tools as part of the design workflow to improve speed, quality, ideation, testing, and creative execution.
Continue developing design craft through feedback, peer learning, industry awareness, and practical product delivery.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field.
The role requires 1-2 years of full-time UX UI design experience, ideally within a consumer-facing digital product, marketplace, e-commerce, delivery, mobile app, or technology environment.
A strong portfolio is important, showing not only polished screens but also the thinking process behind design decisions, problem exploration, user flows, research inputs, and solution development.
The candidate should have working knowledge of design and prototyping tools, with Figma experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with core UX methods such as user flows, journey mapping, wireframing, basic usability testing, and design iteration is required.
The role suits someone with a strong eye for detail, good visual judgment, and genuine care for how digital products look, feel, and function.
The successful candidate should be comfortable asking questions, receiving direct feedback, explaining design choices, and improving work through fast iteration.
Good organization skills are needed to manage design tasks within an agile sprint environment while working closely with product and engineering teams.
A humble, growth-minded attitude is important, with the ability to treat critique as a useful part of becoming a stronger designer.
