Role Context
The Program Manager - Alternate Fulfillment will support Amazon\'s Unified Alternate Fulfillment network across the AMET region. These programs enable Amazon to expand customer selection by fulfilling eligible orders directly from seller or vendor facilities while maintaining the customer experience standards expected from Amazon fulfillment centers.
The role will evaluate regional business needs, define program requirements, and establish implementation plans for new and existing fulfillment channels. Success will require strong stakeholder coordination, advanced data analysis, and the ability to build mechanisms that improve service quality, operational consistency, and network scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage regional programs supporting Seller Flex, Vendor Flex, and Direct Fulfillment channels.
* Develop strategies that expand alternate fulfillment coverage across Africa, the Middle East, and Türkiye.
* Translate long-term business objectives into clear programs, workstreams, milestones, and performance measures.
* Research operational challenges and use data to develop innovative and scalable solutions.
* Analyze business operations from a regional perspective and identify opportunities that benefit multiple teams and countries.
* Define program requirements based on customer needs, seller capabilities, vendor operations, and business priorities.
* Lead improvement initiatives from initial assessment through planning, execution, launch, and performance evaluation.
* Partner with senior leadership to establish priorities and secure alignment for strategic programs.
* Prepare structured recommendations that explain program value, operational impact, resource needs, risks, and expected outcomes.
* Coordinate with technical and non-technical teams to deliver program requirements.
* Work with operations, product, technology, supply chain, commercial, finance, and seller-facing stakeholders.
* Build detailed project plans covering scope, schedules, dependencies, accountable owners, and implementation risks.
* Monitor progress and address delays, resource constraints, or execution barriers before they affect launch commitments.
* Use advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL to analyze operational and program data.
* Build reporting mechanisms that track network growth, fulfillment performance, customer experience, and stakeholder commitments.
* Use Pivot Tables, VLookUps, and other analytical techniques to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
* Define metrics that measure program adoption, operational quality, service performance, and business impact.
* Investigate recurring performance gaps and determine their underlying causes.
* Implement process improvements based on data, operational feedback, and structured root-cause analysis.
* Improve operational performance across alternate fulfillment programs in partnership with regional stakeholders.
* Standardize processes where consistency supports scale while adapting implementation to individual market requirements.
* Develop mechanisms that preserve Amazon Prime customer experience standards for orders shipped from seller and vendor warehouses.
* Communicate program results, risks, progress, and recommendations to senior leadership.
* Maintain clear project documentation, program trackers, decision records, and performance reports.
* Contribute to broader organizational initiatives, including operational inclusion and workforce improvement programs where relevant.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, operations, technology, or a related discipline.
* At least 3 years of program management or project management experience.
* Minimum 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
* At least 3 years of experience defining and implementing process improvements using data and performance metrics.
* Experience defining program requirements and using analysis to determine operational improvements.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including Pivot Tables and VLookUps.
* Practical SQL skills for extracting, combining, and analyzing operational data.
* Strong project-planning capability with experience managing schedules, dependencies, and multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to develop scalable mechanisms for complex regional programs.
* Strong analytical judgment with the ability to interpret data and recommend practical actions.
* Experience working in an environment with changing priorities and incomplete information.
* Strong written communication skills for preparing business documents, proposals, and leadership updates.
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different countries and levels of seniority.
* Experience delivering programs from initial concept through implementation and performance review is preferred.
* At least 3 years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and reporting results to senior leadership is advantageous.
* Experience leading process-improvement initiatives is preferred.
* Previous exposure to e-commerce, fulfillment, seller operations, vendor operations, supply chain, or logistics is beneficial.
