Role Context
This position plays a pivotal role in building and scaling private label portfolios across multiple countries. It directly impacts revenue growth, supplier networks, and brand development by aligning commercial strategies with customer demand and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage private label portfolio performance across the region including sales, availability, and profitability
* Lead sourcing and onboarding of local and international suppliers
* Develop and execute private label product launches across multiple markets
* Oversee assortment planning, packaging development, and go-to-market strategies
* Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize category growth
* Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong business relationships
* Ensure consistent brand positioning and packaging standards across all markets
* Collaborate with creative agencies for product packaging and branding
* Drive cross-functional alignment with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams
Ideal Profile
* Strong experience in category management or product management roles
* Deep understanding of commercial principles including pricing, promotions, and product strategy
* Proven track record in supplier management and negotiations
* Experience in private label development or retail category growth
* Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data
* Ability to manage multiple projects across different markets simultaneously
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Arabic language skills are an advantage
