Role Context
The Senior Product Manager will own a technically complex portfolio spanning multiple interconnected product investments across Amazon MENA\'s Home and Leisure categories. The position sits between regional business priorities and six global technology partner teams, requiring disciplined roadmap ownership and strong influence over deliverables that may not be directly controlled by the MENA organization.
The role combines product strategy with hands-on execution. The manager will define requirements, sequence priorities against limited engineering capacity, coordinate localization and testing, manage operational readiness, and ensure Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Operations, and technology stakeholders remain aligned.
Success depends on maintaining full visibility across dependencies, identifying delivery risks early, and converting MENA customer and business needs into clear product decisions that global technology teams can execute.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end product and technology roadmap across Home and Leisure product domains in MENA.
* Maintain clear visibility of features, dependencies, milestones, risks, and delivery commitments across the portfolio.
* Coordinate execution across six technology partner teams working on interconnected product initiatives.
* Balance directly owned features with globally owned deliverables that require MENA input, localization, testing, or business preparation.
* Prioritize product initiatives against constrained engineering capacity and changing business requirements.
* Identify roadmap gaps, execution risks, and dependency issues early and escalate them with clear recommendations.
* Represent MENA business and customer requirements to global technology organizations.
* Lead Annual Planning and Multi-Year Planning activities for the assigned product portfolio.
* Coordinate worldwide approval processes required for major product or technology initiatives.
* Define business requirements and convert them into actionable product requirements.
* Write clear Business Requirements Documents, Product Requirements Documents, and design documentation.
* Manage product delivery from requirements definition through development, testing, launch, and post-launch follow-up.
* Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure regional requirements are validated before release.
* Drive business and operational readiness for new features, services, and technology launches.
* Work with Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Operations, and other functions to address launch dependencies.
* Navigate legal, regulatory, commercial, and operational considerations associated with services and warranty programs.
* Lead regular multi-team delivery reviews and maintain accountability for outstanding actions.
* Prepare roadmap reviews and product updates for senior leadership.
* Run weekly product and delivery reviews covering progress, risks, decisions, and dependencies.
* Evaluate feature trade-offs using customer value, business impact, technical complexity, and engineering capacity.
* Maintain alignment between regional priorities and global product development roadmaps.
* Use data and structured analysis to influence senior leadership decisions.
* Ensure stakeholder decisions are documented and translated into clear execution plans.
* Create mechanisms that improve coordination and delivery discipline across multiple product teams.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should hold a bachelor\'s degree or equivalent qualification and bring at least five years of experience in product management, program management, product marketing, business development, technology, or a related discipline.
Strong experience operating as a product manager or product owner is required, together with demonstrated ownership of technology products and roadmap strategy.
Candidates should have practical experience taking products through end-to-end delivery, including requirements definition, feature prioritization, development coordination, testing, launch preparation, and performance follow-up.
The role requires confidence making product trade-offs when engineering capacity is limited and multiple stakeholders are competing for priority.
Experience influencing senior leaders through data-driven insights is preferred.
Candidates who have worked across engineering, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Operations, and other senior stakeholder groups will be particularly well suited to the position.
Strong written communication is important because the role requires frequent preparation of business requirements, product requirements, design documents, roadmap narratives, and leadership updates.
