Job Overview
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will develop and execute category sourcing strategies, drive cost optimization, and manage supplier relationships across Amazon’s procurement network in the AMET region. The role requires strategic thinking, supply chain insight, and the ability to influence stakeholders at senior levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement category sourcing strategies aligned with Amazon\'s business objectives
* Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and negotiate supplier contracts that maximize value
* Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in cost, service, and innovation
* Deliver measurable savings and report on sourcing performance metrics
* Analyze market intelligence and proactively identify strategic sourcing opportunities
* Align procurement activities with internal business partners and operational goals
* Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with sourcing policies and standards
Reporting & MIS
* Create and maintain sourcing dashboards for internal tracking
* Deliver regular procurement performance reports to senior leadership
* Track contract terms, savings benchmarks, and key supplier metrics
Required Skills and Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or program management
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills; experience with KPIs and cost models
* Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage end-to-end category strategy
* Bachelor\'s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
* Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree or MBA in a relevant discipline
