Job Overview
As Senior Operations Agent, you will manage the full lifecycle of holiday bookings—both inbound and outbound—ensuring accuracy, timely communication, and excellent customer satisfaction. You will support Qatar Airways Holidays customers across touchpoints, issue required documentation, and provide product expertise on stopovers, city tours, and exclusive packages.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle all customer inquiries and bookings per QR Holidays SOPs and response timelines
* Provide destination and product information with confidence and efficiency
* Support customers with immigration and check-in formalities for layover tours and stopover packages
* Issue relevant travel documentation such as stopover confirmations and tour tickets
* Benchmark suppliers for availability and pricing; recommend best value options
* Use the online booking engine where possible; follow offline procedures when required
* Maintain high-quality communication to support conversion of inquiries into sales
* Ensure consistent service excellence and timely customer updates
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in travel, tourism, or hospitality
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a travel operations or customer service role
* Strong knowledge of Amadeus or similar global reservation systems
* Familiarity with holiday products, tourism destinations, and supplier negotiation
* Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
* Ability to work on rotational shifts in a fast-paced environment
