The 3PL Manager will oversee a critical network of external fulfillment and logistics providers supporting Amazon operations. The role combines provider performance management, capacity planning, cost optimization, contract support, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
The position requires close attention to operational data and service quality. Key Responsibilities
* Manage operational performance, cost, and capacity across external fulfillment and third-party logistics providers.
* Monitor provider performance against established KPIs, SLAs, customer experience measures, and operational targets.
* Analyze delivery and fulfillment data to identify performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
* Develop corrective action plans with 3PL partners when service levels fall below agreed standards.
* Build strong working relationships with external logistics providers and maintain clear accountability for performance.
* Contribute to major fulfillment, supply chain, and transportation projects across MENA.
* Support business growth by ensuring logistics providers can meet changing volume, selection, and capacity requirements.
* Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs without compromising customer experience or service reliability.
* Work closely with Amazon Global Logistics to optimize the flow of import containers into fulfillment sites.
* Coordinate import planning and site readiness to reduce delays, congestion, and operational disruption.
* Support commercial discussions and contract negotiations with external fulfillment partners.
* Provide operational and performance insights that inform sourcing and contract decisions.
* Prioritize operational projects and technology feature requests based on business impact and urgency.
* Set clear expectations with stakeholders regarding project scope, timelines, and delivery priorities.
* Develop communication mechanisms that improve the flow of accurate information between Amazon Retail, fulfillment teams, and external providers.
* Escalate operational issues through appropriate channels and ensure agreed actions are tracked to completion.
