As part of Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) team, we work to continually improve the Amazon Logistics experience. We look after high-impact initiatives and help to develop, roll out and look after a range of logistics-focused projects. Recent examples include launching and expanding delivery. Using data-driven tools, were able to see how we can make processes better and more efficient, or how we can reduce waste across the business.

Our team supports field operations to launch new programs and technology-based solutions across AMET, helping them meet customer demand and drive customer-focused innovation. Were also responsible for raising the bar for our learning teams and making the onboarding experience for Associates, Delivery Partners and Managers as engaging as possible.

The ACES vertical drives process stabilization, standardization and continuous improvement for the AMXL Network across 3 geos UAE, KSA & Egypt. ACES role is essential to establish best in class network performance across all miles, FM, MM and LM and accelerate implementation of technological advancements and to strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for the operational leaders across the network. As AMET region continues to rapidly grow the AMXL footprint and infuse the organization with new talent, we need to ensure the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to successfully deliver expected gains for technology advances and network wide process improvements. This role would drive process control and shifting mean performance with the outcome of minimizing variation between process, buildings and the region to deliver strong OP performance. The role holder will work closely with the Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) AMXL AMET, EU, NA and IN teams to improve the input metrics for each of the miles by prioritizing and channeling resources to address gaps in these input metrics.

Key job responsibilities
Work with other departments to find solutions to address common issues or support needs in areas of key performance
Use data analysis to identify ways to optimize safety, quality and productivity
Create standards audit/observation mechanism which CTL/Manager site visits can perform alongside EDSP leadership and determine a score. These to be performed on a period basis and then aggregated at country level, Managers agreeing corrective action plans to promote continuous improvement
Build partners capabilities in AE, SA and EG on Amazon tools/processes and reduce disparities between countries. Standardize process through developing, implementing and sustaining SOPs.
Complete process audits for all sites and identifies gaps.
Analyse data and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify any inefficiencies in current operations
Establish frameworks to ensure that the balance between quality, speed, cost and other factors are optimized
Share ideas with colleagues and leadership on how processes can be improved
Regular reviews of process efficiencies, offering data-led solutions for changes that will see long-term improvements
