Role Context
The Area Manager will take hands-on responsibility for a defined operational area within an Amazon site, leading a diverse team through daily workload, safety requirements, performance goals, and changing customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
* Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and employee wellbeing across the assigned area.
* Lead daily shift operations and ensure teams are aligned with workload, service, and productivity requirements.
* Manage and support employees while maintaining clear expectations around performance and operational standards.
* Handle routine administrative responsibilities connected with team and shift management.

Ideal Profile
* Minimum 2 years of employee and performance management experience.
* Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent qualification.
* Alternatively, at least 2 years of relevant Amazon full-time experience may meet the requirement.
* Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support diverse teams.
* Comfortable working in a shift-based operational environment.
* Able to analyze performance data and translate findings into corrective action.
* Strong judgment when handling escalations and operational priorities.
* Experience improving processes or using lean techniques is advantageous.
