Role Context
The Channel Team Lead will
The role connects field execution with broader last-mile delivery objectives. By improving prospecting activity, partner activation, operating performance, and delivery quality, the Channel Team Lead will help expand the program while maintaining consistent service standards.
Success requires strong people leadership, disciplined performance management, data-driven problem solving, and close collaboration with Operations, Last Mile, and Program teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Development Executives responsible for Hub Delivery partner growth.
* Ensure consistent execution of Amazon\'s Hub Delivery operating model across assigned territories.
* Coach team members on retail partner prospecting, engagement, onboarding, activation, and ongoing performance management.
* Establish clear performance expectations and reinforce accountability across field activities.
* Monitor team KPIs covering partner activation, operational performance, delivery quality, and field execution.
* Analyze performance data to identify trends, underperforming territories, and improvement opportunities.
* Develop corrective action plans when activation, service, or delivery standards fall below expectations.
* Identify systemic issues affecting multiple partners or territories and coordinate appropriate resolution.
* Work closely with Operations, Last Mile, and Program teams to address problems affecting delivery quality.
* Support Account Development Executives with challenging partner situations and operational escalations.
* Consolidate field observations and partner feedback into actionable business insights.
* Provide recommendations that improve program design, partner experience, operational efficiency, and scalability.
* Strengthen communication between field teams and internal stakeholders to ensure operational issues are addressed quickly.
* Track progress against team goals and maintain visibility of actions required to improve results.
* Promote consistent field standards while allowing practical solutions for different territory conditions.
* Help build a team culture centered on ownership, execution quality, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should have practical experience working with data analysis and be comfortable using performance information to identify issues, prioritize actions, and measure progress.
Experience in operations management is preferred, particularly within logistics, last-mile delivery, partner networks, retail operations, field sales, or other performance-driven environments.
A bachelor\'s degree is preferred.
The role is suited to someone with strong coaching and team leadership capabilities who can improve individual performance while maintaining accountability against operational and activation targets.
Candidates should also be confident working across multiple stakeholder groups and able to translate field-level challenges into clear recommendations for Operations, Program, and Last Mile teams.
