The Channel Team Leader will
The role requires strong ownership of daily results while also looking beyond immediate operational issues. By identifying patterns in performance data, investigating disruptions, and translating findings into structured action plans, the Channel Team Leader will help strengthen returns processing, delivery experience, cost control, and overall network reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor reverse logistics program performance across multiple sites on a daily basis.
* Review operational and compliance results and identify locations requiring corrective action.
* Develop action plans to improve performance and achieve established program targets.
* Analyze transportation operations to identify business challenges, strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
* Map business requirements and evaluate existing operational processes and workflows.
* Translate operational needs into practical solutions and functional requirements.
* Develop and report performance metrics that provide clear visibility of network results.
* Prepare executive updates, operational summaries, forecasts, budgets, and analytical reports.
* Use performance data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
* Conduct detailed investigations into recurring problems, disruptions, and performance trends.
* Maintain awareness of relevant logistics and transportation practices and apply appropriate methods to business challenges.
* Design and support enterprise-wide programs focused on performance improvement.
* Develop initiatives that reduce reverse logistics cycle times and improve return processing.
* Contribute to projects designed to improve customer delivery and returns experience.
* Support financial auditing activities related to operational programs and network performance.
* Explore alternate delivery or service models where they may improve operational outcomes.
* Coordinate program ramp-ups, new site readiness, and scouting activities.
* Manage relationships with vendors and ensure expectations for operational delivery are clearly understood.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to support timely launches and maintain performance standards.
* Prepare daily program performance summaries for leadership and operational stakeholders.
* Track agreed actions through completion and escalate risks or delays where necessary.
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail when reviewing data, compliance requirements, and operational performance.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should hold a bachelor\'s degree and be fluent in spoken, written, and read English.
Previous experience in an operational environment is preferred, particularly within logistics, transportation, distribution, fulfillment, returns management, or similar high-volume operations.
The role is suited to someone who is comfortable working with performance metrics, business processes, vendors, operational stakeholders, and detailed datasets. Strong analytical thinking is important because the Channel Team Leader will be expected to identify patterns, investigate abnormalities, and understand the wider implications of operational data.
