Job Overview
DP World is seeking a Chartering Executive to support its marine services division in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role focuses on charter party management, tender preparation, and client coordination for vessel hiring operations. The position is critical in ensuring compliance, contract execution, and the smooth operation of internal and external vessel chartering activities.

Job Overview
The Chartering Executive will be responsible for managing tender submissions, preparing quotations, handling contract administration, and coordinating vessel charters with clients and internal departments. The role also supports documentation, bidding, and CRM updates while ensuring compliance with ISO and ISM standards across marine contracts and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Administer and prepare vessel charter party contracts (BIMCO and internal proformas)
* Prepare tenders, quotations, pre-qualification documents, and full submission packages
* Maintain CRM and charter contract databases, including vessel specifications and updates
* Coordinate with clients for requirements, clarifications, overdue payments, and follow-ups
* Support development of new business opportunities to optimize fleet utilization
* Manage contract lifecycles: milestone tracking, insurance renewals, customs schedules
* Facilitate internal charter agreements including time-charters, bareboat, and crewed models
* Work with legal and finance teams for approvals, structuring, and execution of charter contracts
* Assist in budgeting, review meetings, and preparation of regional reports
* Monitor compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, ISM, and ISPS standards
* Maintain accurate filing and documentation for bids, market insights, and contracts

Job Requirements

* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Maritime, or related field
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a chartering, tendering, or sales administration role
* Strong contract administration and proposal writing skills
* Knowledge of BIMCO charter parties and marine insurance documentation
* Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Capable of multitasking under tight deadlines with strong organizational skills
* Experience in coordinating with multiple departments and client-facing roles
