Position Overview
DP World Dubai is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the Director of Finance in managing all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance. This role involves overseeing general ledger operations, consolidation, audits, VAT, and corporate tax compliance, ensuring all financial reporting aligns with IFRS standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in accounting, financial planning, and taxation while maintaining accuracy, integrity, and compliance across DP World’s regional financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Director of Finance in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and consolidation across multiple business units.
* Coordinate with commercial, operations, and project management teams to ensure revenue and cost recognition align with IFRS and corporate policies.
* Prepare monthly management reports, variance analyses, and commentary for review by senior management.
* Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating inputs from all departments.
* Maintain an accurate and up-to-date general ledger, ensuring sub-ledgers reconcile with control accounts.
* Review journal entries and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
* Manage intercompany transactions and ensure proper allocation of shared service costs.
* Supervise fixed asset accounting, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, and disposals in accordance with policy.
* Review and approve bank reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
* Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate governance standards.
* Oversee VAT compliance including accurate accounting, reconciliation, and timely submission of returns to FTA.
* Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws, including preparation of tax returns and liaison with tax advisors and regulators.
* Contribute to financial modelling, feasibility studies, and ad hoc management reports as required.
* Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency, reporting accuracy, and data integrity.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
* Professional qualification: CA, CPA, or ACCA required.
* Minimum 7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
* Strong understanding of IFRS standards and financial reporting best practices.
* Experience with Oracle ERP or similar financial systems.
* Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.
