Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and monitor daily fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, routing, and scheduling.
* Track deliveries and shipments to ensure on-time arrivals and resolve any transport delays or issues.
* Communicate regularly with drivers, dispatchers, and customers to maintain smooth operations.
* Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, repairs, fuel usage, and mileage.
* Use GPS tracking systems and telematics tools to monitor vehicle locations and performance metrics.
* Arrange external transportation or third-party logistics support when necessary.
* Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, or emergencies involving company vehicles.
* Collaborate with sales, dispatch, and customer service teams to adjust schedules based on operational needs.
* Manage driver schedules, rotations, vacations, and handovers to ensure coverage and compliance.
* Monitor and log driver behavior, including fines, accidents, attendance, and performance records.
* Enforce company transportation policies, ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations.
* Support the fleet manager in continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction efforts.
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
* 3–5 years of experience in fleet coordination, logistics operations, or transportation management.
* Proficient in GPS tracking systems, route planning software, and MS Office tools.
* Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to handle operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of UAE road regulations and fleet compliance standards.
