Group Manager - Internal Audit and Risk Advisory
Position Overview
DP World is seeking a strategic and highly skilled Group Manager – Business Audit to join its Global Internal Audit (GIA) team based in Dubai. This leadership role offers broad exposure across DP World’s global operations, providing assurance, driving governance, and identifying impactful opportunities to enhance risk, control, and compliance frameworks. You will lead complex audits, contribute to special projects, and work closely with senior management to shape a world-class internal audit function in one of the world’s leading trade enablers.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver cross-functional audits locally and internationally across DP World’s business units, divisions, and regions
* Apply strong governance, risk, and control knowledge to audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issue resolution
* Develop audit plans and reports aligned with GIA standards and business strategy, ensuring actionable recommendations
* Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing independent insights that drive operational excellence
* Support innovation initiatives in agile auditing, data analytics, and AI-driven audit frameworks
* Conduct remote and onsite audits, reporting findings to the GIA leadership and Audit Committee
* Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders including external auditors, regulators, and business leaders
* Contribute to GIA’s internal transformation through special projects such as risk assessment tools and Centres of Excellence
* Champion continuous improvement in audit methodology, reporting, and audit quality assurance
* Supervise, coach, and mentor junior auditors during audit engagements
* Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge including global audit standards, sustainability, and regulatory shifts
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; ACA, CPA, or CIMA required
* CIA qualification preferred
* 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in audit, with at least 3 years in internal audit leadership roles
* Proven track record in corporate governance, internal controls, and enterprise risk management
* Experience in logistics, supply chain, ports, or maritime sectors is desirable
* Exposure to global audit standards (e.g., COSO, Global Internal Audit Standards 2024)
* Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
* Excellent report writing, stakeholder communication, and conflict resolution skills
* Experience using data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView) is a strong advantage
* Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic, French, or Mandarin is a plus
* Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%
