Position Overview
DP World is seeking a qualified HSE Inspector to support health, safety, and environmental compliance across marine, offshore, and rig construction projects in Dubai. This role is essential to enforcing safety regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across complex industrial environments.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with the Permit to Work system
* Enforce OH&S requirements and oversee the implementation of the site-specific HSE plan
* Support daily HSE operations, including gas monitoring, risk assessments, and site audits
* Lead safety awareness initiatives and encourage positive safety behaviors on assigned projects
* Participate in accident investigations, assist with root cause analysis, and contribute to incident reporting
* Identify safety improvement opportunities and escalate unresolved issues
* Collaborate with Project Managers, contractors, and clients to resolve safety-related concerns
* Monitor emergency preparedness and assist the Emergency Response Team during incidents
* Facilitate employee briefings and safety training sessions to maintain awareness and compliance
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports for internal and client-facing updates
Ideal Profile
* NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent HSE diploma/qualification
* 3+ years of experience as a Safety Inspector in ship repair, offshore construction, or rig conversion projects
* Strong understanding of safety inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigation procedures
* Proven ability to implement safety policies and manage site compliance in high-risk environments
* Excellent leadership, reporting, and coordination skills
* Familiar with ISO HSE and Environmental Management Systems
