Role Context
This role plays a critical part in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all logistics processes run efficiently from supplier pickup to final delivery. It helps maintain supply chain continuity by managing documentation, customs processes, and communication with logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with suppliers and brand teams to arrange cargo pickup and shipment planning
* Work closely with freight forwarders to manage import, re-export, and delivery processes
* Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to warehouses and retail stores
* Request and compare freight quotations for ad hoc shipments
* Maintain an updated logistics tracker with shipment details and status
* Validate customs documentation and freight invoices before submission to finance
* Process bill of entry for all inbound and outbound shipments
* Arrange required certifications such as COO and SASO through service providers
* Coordinate customs inspections and booking processes
* Collect delivery orders and shipping documents from carriers and airlines
Ideal Profile
* 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, freight, or import export operations
* Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and shipping documentation
* Familiarity with freight forwarding and shipment coordination
* Strong organizational and coordination skills
