Role Context
This role supports end-to-end trade operations by managing shipping documentation, coordinating shipments, and handling Letters of Credit processes. It ensures smooth execution of import and export activities while maintaining compliance with trade terms and banking requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage shipping documentation with suppliers and shipping lines
* Prepare sales and purchase contracts and invoices based on trading terms
* Coordinate shipment schedules with suppliers and customers
* Handle import and export documentation under Letters of Credit
* Prepare LC documentation and manage negotiations with banks
* Maintain accurate shipment records and provide status updates
* Ensure compliance with shipping procedures and trade regulations
Ideal Profile
* Diploma in Logistics, Business, or related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping or trade operations
* Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping procedures, and LC documentation
* Experience working with banks for LC-related processes
* Familiarity with SAP Business One is an advantage
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
