Role Context
The Operations Specialist is responsible for managing shift performance and maintaining smooth daily operations across warehouse and delivery environments. The role helps improve customer satisfaction by ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved while supporting team performance and operational excellence across the network.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee shift operations across fulfillment centers, sortation centers, or delivery stations
* Create and maintain a safe working environment by identifying and resolving workplace safety risks
* Supervise, guide, and train associates to improve team productivity and service quality
* Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in line with operational quality standards
* Provide critical shift updates and operational reports to frontline management and leadership teams
* Adjust labor allocation during shifts to meet workload demands, forecasts, and service targets
* Coordinate with support functions and other departments to resolve daily operational issues
* Monitor key areas such as process readiness, 5S standards, safety, and employee training
* Use operational data to identify logistics improvement opportunities and process optimization plans
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and delivery operations
Ideal Profile
* Experience managing medium to large operational teams
* Strong understanding of logistics, fulfillment, warehouse, or delivery station operations
* Experience using data analysis to support decision-making and operational improvements
* Good leadership and team supervision skills in fast-paced environments
* Strong problem-solving ability and operational decision-making skills
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining productivity and quality standards
* Strong communication skills and coordination with multiple departments
* Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and operational compliance
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
