The Operations Supervisor will work across
Amazon Logistics and Fulfillment Center environments where daily execution depends on accurate labor planning, disciplined process control, clear communication, and responsive leadership. The position carries responsibility for teams that may include Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, associates, and external Delivery Service Providers.
The role directly influences fulfillment speed, delivery reliability, workplace safety, inventory accuracy, and employee performance. The supervisor will use operational metrics, process knowledge, and hands-on leadership to resolve problems quickly and build more efficient ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operational activities across Amazon Logistics and Fulfillment Center environments.
* Lead and coordinate teams of approximately 30 to 40 employees and operational partners.
* Allocate labor according to workload, service requirements, and changing operational priorities.
* Conduct shift meetings, communicate expectations, and assign responsibilities clearly.
* Train, coach, and develop associates and support team members to improve individual and team performance.
* Maintain a positive work environment while reinforcing accountability, safety, and operational discipline.
* Ensure teams comply with Amazon Health and Safety standards and site operating procedures.
* Monitor operational KPIs and investigate performance gaps through detailed root cause analysis.
* Implement corrective actions to address productivity, quality, service, or workflow issues.
* Identify practical opportunities to simplify processes and improve operational efficiency.
* Develop strong knowledge of core processes and act as a point of reference for operational execution.
* Communicate daily performance metrics, exceptions, and emerging risks to relevant stakeholders.
* Collaborate with technical, operational, and cross-functional teams to resolve recurring challenges.
* Manage relationships and performance expectations involving external agencies and delivery partners.
* Make timely operational decisions in fast-moving situations using available data and sound judgment.

Ideal Profile
* Previous experience managing teams in an operational environment.
* At least 1 year of employee and performance management experience is required.
* Around 3 or more years of experience managing teams and people is preferred.
* Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is advantageous.
* Strong ability to motivate teams while maintaining clear performance expectations.
* Comfortable working with operational metrics and using data to identify underlying performance issues.
