Role Context
This position provides frontline leadership across fast-moving last-mile and fulfillment operations. The supervisor
will coordinate teams of approximately 30 to 40 Operations Assistants, associates, and Delivery Service Provider personnel. By controlling labor allocation, equipment readiness, performance reporting, and process compliance, the role helps orders move safely and efficiently through the delivery network.
Key Responsibilities
The supervisor will maintain close visibility of daily operations while helping teams respond effectively to changing priorities.
* Direct daily activities across Amazon Logistics and Fulfillment Center workflows
* Supervise Operations Assistants, associates, and Delivery Service Provider teams
* Allocate labor according to workload, staffing levels, and operational priorities
* Lead shift meetings, assign duties, and communicate clear performance expectations
* Train, coach, and develop employees to improve capability and engagement
* Maintain a positive working environment built around safety, accountability, and respect
* Monitor KPIs and investigate the causes of productivity, quality, or delivery exceptions
* Implement corrective actions and verify whether improvements are sustained
* Identify opportunities to streamline workflows without reducing quality or functionality
* Conduct detailed operational analysis and become a subject matter expert on core processes
* Report daily metrics, operational risks, and unresolved exceptions to relevant stakeholders
* Communicate effectively with operational, business, and technical teams
* Coordinate with external agencies and review their service performance
* Use operational software and hardware tools to support accurate daily execution
* Ensure employees have functional equipment and arrange repairs or replacements when required
* Support new system and process rollouts by gathering feedback and assisting users
* Make timely decisions when operational conditions or customer requirements change
* Share successful practices across teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
