Sales Executive - Logistics & Freight Forwarding

DP World is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Sales Executive to strengthen relationships with logistics clients, generate new business, and drive revenue growth within the DP World Logistics division. This role is ideal for professionals with strong commercial experience in freight forwarding and logistics in the UAE and GCC market.

Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Function: Sales and Business Development – Freight & Logistics
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED 10,000 – AED 15,000 per month (estimated market range)
Gender: Any

Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the main contact for logistics business clients, maintaining strong, trust-based relationships
* Proactively secure new clients and expand volume from assigned accounts to meet revenue targets
* Conduct regular client visits and log sales activities while identifying and converting leads into revenue
* Keep customer profiles updated and maintain detailed trade records to support commercial goals
* Engage with dormant or potential clients to unlock new opportunities and drive sustained growth
* Negotiate pricing within approved guidelines to maximize profitability
* Ensure timely and professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders
* Collaborate with operations, documentation, and customer service teams to ensure seamless contract execution
* Promote a full suite of DP World services and products across business units
* Analyze sales trends, monitor market and competitor activity, and participate in sales strategy meetings

Requirements

Education:

* Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field

Experience:

* 5–7 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics within the GCC

Skills:

* Commercial acumen and customer-focused attitude
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong knowledge of logistics systems and market trends
* Able to manage a portfolio of clients independently
* Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools
