Technical Planning Officer – P&O Maritime Logistics (DP World) Dubai, UAE
Role Summary
The Technical Planning Officer – P&O Maritime Logistics (DP World) Dubai will support planning and execution of technical projects including dry-dockings, overhauls, refits, and upgrades across the fleet. The role will ensure accurate technical records management, oversee PMS/NSE implementation, and support cost control while acting as an advanced system user for technical and administrative platforms.

What You’ll Do
* Develop and maintain a 5-year master plan for vessel dry-docking and overhauls
* Prepare regular dry-docking performance reports and coordinate monthly maintenance planning
* Maintain technical documentation for newly acquired vessels and inspection reports
* Prepare and circulate monthly technical reliability reports including vessel downtime
* Support quality inspections and follow-up on non-conformities with business units
* Coordinate PMS/NSE implementation activities for new vessels and business units
* Monitor outstanding preventive maintenance tasks and guide teams on system usage
* Process requisitions, service requests, and vendor invoices through NSE system
* Assist in preparing CAPEX and OPEX budgets, expenditure tracking, and CAPEX reporting
* Maintain AFE records, monitor requisitions and costs, and update CAPEX trackers
* Manage access and system-related issues in technical platforms such as Fusion and NSE
* Maintain technical databases and reports in Power BI
* Support administrative functions including travel coordination, gate passes, and contractor requests
* Provide assistance to other departments when required and complete tasks assigned by the line manager
Ideal Profile
* Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering preferred
* Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, PMS, or technical administration
* Proven experience in marine industry or offshore vessel operations
* Knowledge of local suppliers is an advantage
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
