The Opportunity
Presight is looking for a Solution Architect who will play a pivotal role with our Smart City products and offerings, focusing on presales and solution design. This dynamic professional will work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, translate these needs into comprehensive solution requirements, and craft responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of IoT (Internet of Things) technologies, smart city initiatives, and the ability to deliver innovative, scalable, and customer-centric solutions.

You will also support in Presenting and communicating IoT design concepts and technology solutions to clients, sales team, and stakeholders.
Functional
Engage with clients to comprehensively understand their smart city initiatives, challenges, and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams & partners to design tailored IoT solutions that align with clients\' goals and technical specifications.
Designing and developing hands-on IoT architecture to integrate into various smart city use cases such as Energy, transportation, public safety, and environmental management etc.
Working with cross-functional teams, conducting research on new IoT technologies and trends, and evaluating the feasibility of various solutions
Analyzing and assessing technology requirements, including IoT devices, sensors, cloud computing, and data analytics, to ensure the effective implementation of IoT solutions.
Evaluating the technical capabilities, reliability, scalability, and security of new technologies and vendors..
Understanding the specific needs and requirements of different smart city use cases such as Smart Grids, Smart Parking, Command and control center and other IoT Offerings.
Create all the necessary technical, sales collaterals and process documentation for the new smart city service offerings to enable our sales team and support our GTM strategy.
Defining and implementing security protocols and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and information across all use cases.
Keeping abreast of emerging IoT technologies and industry trends and recommending technology solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Collaborating with other stakeholders, including procurement, legal, and security teams, to ensure proper due diligence and risk assessment is conducted.
Conduct research and gather information about the technology and vendor, review whitepapers, case studies, and other relevant materials.
Try out a demo, pilot program or a free trial if available, and test the product in a real-world scenario.
Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
