Job Overview
NAFFCO is seeking an experienced Automotive Production Engineer (Electrical) to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is critical in overseeing the electrical systems within automotive production, ensuring efficient integration, compliance with safety and quality standards, and continuous process optimization. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for automotive production lines
- Oversee the integration of electrical components into vehicles, ensuring compliance with functional, safety, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the R&D team to implement new technologies into the production process
- Continuously assess production processes to identify areas for improvement in electrical systems
- Develop and implement solutions to optimize electrical production lines, increasing efficiency and reducing downtime
- Provide technical support for electrical issues encountered during production and work to resolve them efficiently
- Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, components, or systems within the production environment
- Ensure electrical systems meet both internal and external quality standards
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with automotive electrical specifications
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for electrical systems and components used in production
- Generate detailed reports on electrical issues, process improvements, and quality checks
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall production process
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source electrical components and materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering within automotive production or a related industry
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience with electrical circuit design, troubleshooting, and testing
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, or SolidWorks for electrical design and layout
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations such as ISO, IEC, and SAE
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
