The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple procurement portfolios within manufacturing or factory settings, ensuring cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in sourcing and purchasing activities to obtain materials, equipment, and services necessary for manufacturing projects.
- Manage procurement for multiple portfolios related to manufacturing, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and project management, to align procurement strategies with project timelines and requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels without overstocking.
- Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to optimize procurement strategies.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and purchasing trends.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within manufacturing, factory settings, or corporate manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing multiple procurement portfolios, including sourcing materials for ships, rigs, and conversions, is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, including ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
