Safety Inspector

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the factory and equipment to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace and implement corrective actions to minimize risks
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA standards, local labor laws, and company safety policies
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend preventive measures
- Conduct safety training sessions for employees on proper equipment usage, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency protocols
- Ensure the availability and proper use of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency exits
- Maintain comprehensive records of safety audits, incidents, and corrective actions taken
- Work closely with management to implement and improve safety policies and procedures
Required Skills and Experience
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety-related accreditation is a plus
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in workplace safety, risk management, or industrial safety inspections
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, labor laws, and emergency response procedures
- Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations
Technical Skills
- Ability to identify workplace hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in safety inspection tools and incident reporting software
- Strong communication and leadership skills to enforce safety policies and train employees
- Attention to detail in documenting safety audits, compliance records, and corrective actions
