Assistant Brand Manager – Mono Brands Common Division – GMG – Dubai, UAE

Position Overview
GMG is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Assistant Brand Manager to support its Mono Brands Common Division in Dubai. This role focuses on executing brand strategies, analyzing performance, and ensuring brand consistency across all retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of GCC consumer behavior, retail sports industry trends, and data-driven decision-making, contributing to the brand’s continued growth and regional impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Brand Manager in executing the brand’s vision and strategy across all channels.
* Analyze historical and current sales data to identify gaps, opportunities, and key performance drivers.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to gather insights into consumer preferences and industry trends.
* Collaborate daily with logistics, marketing, e-commerce, and retail teams to ensure seamless brand execution.
* Monitor brand performance metrics such as category mix, sell-through, price positioning, and SKU efficiency.
* Provide data-driven recommendations for improving brand performance and achieving category growth.
* Assist in developing consumer-focused segmentation strategies for DTC, multi-concept, and wholesale channels.
* Prepare and manage seasonal tools such as Trasix E-catalogues, pricing, and segmentation materials.
* Coordinate order consolidation and review purchases to align with brand objectives and category mix targets.
* Support creation of article master POs and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
* Communicate key findings and market feedback to management for strategic decision-making.
* Coordinate with brand principals, logistics, and marketing for sample management and showroom setup.
* Participate in the planning and execution of Go-to-Market seasonal showrooms and product launches.
* Stay informed about emerging market trends, competitor activities, and best practices in brand management.

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in brand management, category management, or marketing coordination, ideally in the sports or lifestyle retail sector.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills with a data-driven mindset.
* Experience with brand planning, forecasting, and retail sales analysis.
* Familiarity with Trasix or similar merchandising and cataloging tools is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
* Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
