Responsibilities:
Play highly visible role in various project related MEP engineering tasks including design review, drawing review, daily coordination and communication, along with on site periodic inspections and supervision of system testing and commissioning, etc.
Assist the team for project management, site inspection and other ad-hoc issues as assigned.
Ensure the project delivery in time, within budget and in compliance with the company requirements.
Assist in preparation of reports, proposals and other relevant submissions.
Assist in coordination with the project team and clients.
Frequent and extensive travel throughout Middle East and Africa countries is required.
Qualifications:
The candidate will need to have previous experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in a Consultancy environment and have solid basic understanding of both HVAC and Plumbing design. The ideal candidate will have both design and site supervision experience but design experience is a must.
Degree / Associate Degree / Higher Diploma in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
Mechanical Engineering experience required but a reasonable understanding of Electrical systems design will also be required
Experience in hospitality projects is a distinct advantage, but the candidate MUST have experience in Building design
Demonstrated progressive work history and stable background
Mature, well-organized, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
