What Does a Head of Sales Do?
The Head of Sales will develop and execute high-impact strategies to promote Al-Futtaim\'s digital services and retail media solutions. This includes owning client relationships across key markets, driving new partnerships, and ensuring revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded. The ideal candidate understands regional dynamics and can navigate the B2B digital landscape with agility and confidence.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Create and implement data-driven sales strategies to scale digital services across UAE, Egypt, and KSA
- Lead client acquisition efforts while nurturing existing relationships in retail, e-commerce, and lifestyle sectors
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to optimize offerings and partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and partnerships teams to align goals and streamline execution
- Mentor regional sales reps or country-specific teams to hit performance targets
- Analyze sales metrics and reporting dashboards to refine strategy and improve results
- Act as the brand ambassador in client pitches, events, and stakeholder presentations
What Skills Are Needed for a Head of Sales in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in sales or business development with a focus on digital services, retail media, or e-commerce platforms
- Proven success in driving B2B growth across multi-market regions (UAE, Egypt, KSA)
- Background in building partnerships, closing high-value deals, and launching new solutions
Skills:
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and data analytics tools
- Cultural awareness and adaptability to travel across GCC and North Africa
