The Specialist - Dermatology will provide medical and cosmetic dermatology services for patients seeking diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and aesthetic improvement of skin, hair, and nail conditions. The role involves detailed skin assessment, personalized care planning, minor procedures, cosmetic interventions, patient education, and follow-up care. The specialist will support high standards of clinical safety and patient satisfaction while contributing to modern dermatology and aesthetic medicine services in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive dermatology consultations, skin assessments, medical history reviews, and clinical examinations.
* Diagnose and manage a range of dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, pigmentation concerns, infections, hair loss, allergies, and other skin disorders.
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on diagnosis, patient goals, clinical findings, and evidence-based dermatology practice.
* Perform medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures, including laser therapy, chemical peels, Botox, fillers, skin biopsies, and other clinic-approved treatments.
* Provide aesthetic consultations and advise patients on suitable treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, aftercare, and maintenance plans.
* Offer expert guidance on skincare routines, preventive care, sun protection, post-treatment recovery, and long-term skin health.
* Maintain accurate patient records, procedure notes, consent forms, treatment plans, progress updates, and follow-up documentation.
* Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, infection control practices, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with nurses, laser technicians, aestheticians, clinic coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to support smooth patient care.
* Stay updated with new developments in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, laser platforms, injectables, and non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
* Build patient trust through clear communication, ethical advice, confidentiality, and realistic treatment counselling.
* Support a high-quality clinic experience focused on patient comfort, safety, satisfaction, and professional care.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from a recognized institution.
* Specialist qualification in Dermatology.
* Valid UAE dermatology license or eligibility for specialist registration.
* Proven experience in both clinical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.
* Strong ability to diagnose and treat common and complex skin conditions.
* Practical experience with laser technologies, injectables, chemical peels, skin biopsies, and aesthetic treatment planning.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a confident patient-facing approach.
* Ability to explain treatment plans, procedure expectations, safety points, and aftercare clearly.
* Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, satisfaction, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
