Full Job Description
Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:
Carry out hospital deliveries and trips as per authorization.
Maintain accurate records of the logbook.
Maintain the vehicle i.e. cleanliness etc.
Check and report faults to ensure roadworthiness.
To perform drivers function in accordance to the region policies, and procedures SHEQ requirements and Road Traffic Act and Regulations.
A strong commitment to teamwork and the ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of hospital procedures.
Must be familiar with Gauteng areas.
Must be able to use his/her initiative.
Must have good work ethic and be able to work under minimum supervision.
Other tasks as required. This includes but is not limited to Porter duties.

Candidate Requirements/ Experience :
Must have a valid Matric certificate.
Valid code 08 license (PDP would be a pre-requisite).
Previous hospital environment experience advantageous.
Must be able to work shifts, including night duty, weekends and public holidays.
Must be physically fit due to the nature of the job.
Must display a pleasant disposition and take pride in their appearance.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
At least 3 years experience as Driver.
The candidate should have the ability manage time effectively.
Problem-solving, analysis and judgment.
Verbal and written communication and presentation.
Drive and energy.
