Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents presenting with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and mental health concerns.
* Diagnose and manage pediatric mental health conditions using evidence-based clinical judgment and age-appropriate assessment methods.
* Develop individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy-informed interventions, medication management, family support, and structured follow-up.
* Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans based on response, safety, development, and family feedback.
* Work collaboratively with psychologists, pediatricians, therapists, nurses, school counselors, and other allied healthcare professionals.
* Support families through clear education, guidance, and counseling in Arabic and English when needed.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in line with clinical and ethical requirements.
* Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical meetings, and patient care planning sessions.
* Follow DHA regulations, ethical standards, patient confidentiality requirements, and best clinical practices.
* Provide culturally sensitive care for Arabic-speaking families and diverse pediatric populations in Dubai.
* Contribute to a calm, supportive, and child-friendly clinical environment that encourages trust and treatment engagement.
Ideal Profile
* CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
* Eligibility for DHA licensure or active DHA license.
* Fluency in Arabic is essential, with strong English communication skills required.
* Proven clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
* Strong diagnostic, clinical, therapeutic, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working in the Middle East or with Arabic-speaking populations is preferred.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
