This Specialist IVF Physician position involves diagnosing female and male infertility factors and developing evidence-based reproductive treatment plans. The physician will manage IVF and ICSI cycles, ovulation induction, follicular monitoring, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and other assisted reproductive procedures.
The role requires close coordination with embryologists, nurses, laboratory professionals, and other healthcare specialists. The appointed physician will also counsel patients, monitor treatment outcomes, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute to fertility-service quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct fertility consultations and comprehensive reproductive health assessments for individuals and couples.
* Review medical histories and evaluate possible female and male causes of infertility.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings, reproductive goals, and clinical suitability.
* Manage IVF and ICSI treatment cycles in accordance with approved clinical protocols.
* Oversee ovulation induction, ovarian stimulation, and follicular monitoring.
* Perform egg retrieval and embryo transfer procedures within the physician\'s licensed scope of practice.
* Interpret pelvic ultrasound examinations, hormonal profiles, semen analysis, and genetic screening results.
* Evaluate treatment response and adjust medication or clinical protocols when medically appropriate.
* Counsel patients about fertility treatment options, anticipated outcomes, potential risks, and procedural requirements.
* Provide compassionate emotional support throughout investigation, active treatment, and follow-up.
* Collaborate with embryologists, fertility nurses, laboratory teams, and multidisciplinary medical professionals.
* Maintain complete and accurate patient records in accordance with applicable Dubai healthcare regulations.

* Medical degree such as an MBBS, MD, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
* Completed specialization in obstetrics and gynecology.
* Fellowship, subspecialty training, or another recognized qualification in reproductive medicine or IVF.
* Valid DHA specialist licence or eligibility for specialist registration in Dubai.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in IVF and fertility treatment within a reputable healthcare facility.
* Demonstrated experience managing IVF and ICSI cycles and related assisted reproductive procedures.
* Strong knowledge of ovulation induction, ovarian stimulation, follicular monitoring, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer.
* Ability to interpret reproductive ultrasound findings, hormone tests, semen analysis, and genetic screening results.
