The Associate Production Engineer supports product development and fabrication by applying established engineering theories, procedures, and design practices. Working under the instruction and
guidance of experienced team members, the position focuses on solving routine production problems and converting initial ideas into practical designs and manufacturing specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop design concepts based on customer requirements, available budgets, and relevant market research.
* Collaborate with the development team to evaluate and refine product ideas.
* Analyze industry developments, market requirements, and product trends.
* Create preliminary product designs using sketches and engineering software.
* Conduct theoretical testing and analysis of design models.
* Produce complete product designs and technical specifications using computer-aided modeling tools.
* Select appropriate materials based on performance, manufacturing, safety, and project requirements.
* Develop suitable manufacturing and fabrication processes for approved products.
* Support production teams during product assembly and fabrication.
* Monitor assembly activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
* Verify that completed products meet applicable market requirements and safety regulations.
* Resolve routine production and fabrication issues using established procedures.
* Maintain clear technical communication with engineering, development, and production teams.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is preferred.
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Engineer, Production Engineer, or in a comparable position.
* Practical understanding of product development, production, and fabrication processes.
* Able to apply conceptual engineering knowledge under professional guidance.
* Familiar with industry developments and changing market trends.
* Capable of translating product concepts into detailed and manufacturable designs.
* Relevant Product Engineer training or professional certification is advantageous.
* Strong attention to product quality, specifications, and safety requirements.
