* Develop design concepts based on customer requirements, available budgets, and relevant market research.
* Collaborate with the development team to discuss and evaluate product ideas.
* Analyze market developments and industry product trends relevant to assigned work.
* Prepare preliminary product designs using sketches and appropriate computer software.
* Conduct theoretical testing of design models to evaluate proposed concepts.
* Develop complete product designs and specifications using computer-based modeling techniques.
* Select appropriate product materials and contribute to defining the manufacturing process.
* Support production and fabrication activities using established procedures, engineering practices, and technical guidance.
* Oversee assembly activities and verify that completed products conform to applicable specifications and safety regulations.
* Apply technical knowledge and established procedures to resolve routine or standard production-related problems.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field is preferred.
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Engineer or in a similar role.
* Advanced analytical and design skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of relevant industry and market trends.
* Relevant Product Engineer training and-or certifications.
* Ability to apply engineering theories, practices, and procedures to production and fabrication activities.
* Capability to work under instruction and collaborate effectively with other members of the engineering and development teams.
Engineering and Design Focus
The position combines production engineering with practical product development responsibilities.
