Business Planning Specialist - ADNOC Abu Dhabi
Role Summary
ADNOC is seeking a Business Planning Specialist to prepare and manage the company’s business plan, oversee performance monitoring, and evaluate capital budgeting processes. The role involves providing strategic analysis and recommendations to support informed decision-making and ensure alignment with shareholder guidelines and organizational goals.

What You’ll Do
* Develop ADNOC’s 5-Year business plans in line with shareholder directives and organizational objectives
* Coordinate with departments to gather inputs for strategic plans and performance contracts
* Review and analyze capital budget requests, ensuring alignment with the business plan and feasibility standards
* Conduct economic and financial evaluations to validate project viability under the Value Assurance Process (VAP)
* Provide long-term expenditure forecasts and identify risks, value-adding opportunities, and mitigation strategies
* Monitor and assess divisional performance contracts, prepare reports, and recommend adjustments where needed
* Ensure compliance with HSE guidelines, ADNOC policies, and international best practices
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
* Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas business planning, including exposure to capital budgeting and performance management
* Strong financial and economic analysis capabilities with knowledge of project evaluation techniques
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
