Cost Estimation Engineer – ADNOC Onshore – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Role Summary
The Cost Estimation Engineer will prepare and maintain cost estimates for field development and capital projects, ensuring accurate financial planning for economic evaluations, business plans, and budgets. The role requires strong expertise in cost estimation techniques, risk assessment, and life cycle costing to support ADNOC Onshore projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and update cost estimates for various project phases including feasibility, FEED, and execution stages.
* Review project cost estimates from consultants and integrate indirect owner costs to determine overall project budgets.
* Prepare cost breakdown structures and contribute to business plans and budget submissions.
* Conduct cost risk assessments, optimization studies, and quantified risk analysis.
* Support the development of standardized cost estimation procedures and utilize computer-based estimating tools.
* Provide accurate cost forecasts and ensure sufficient funding for capital development projects and maintenance works.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, planners, and finance teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Participate in techno-commercial evaluations and feasibility studies for cost-effective project implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Process or Mechanical).
* 8 years of diversified engineering experience with at least 4 years in cost estimation within the oil & gas industry.
* Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques, CBS, CAPEX, OPEX, ADNOC cost standards, and contingency planning.
* Familiarity with risk assessment processes and international cost estimation best practices.
* Experience in using cost estimation software and ERP systems.
Preferred Certifications
* Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or equivalent.
Skills & Competencies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
